Frequently Asked Questions

How is payment handled:

Payment is most often handled with PayPal invoices. This is a safe and secure way to handle payment.
I usually just wait and do payment when the order is complete, unless it's an uncommon item/color/size.
I email you a PayPal invoice for the payments. If you are ordering an item directly from my store page, the payment processors are PayPal and Amazon.
I do accept checks on occasion from people who, either I know, or are friends of someone I know.

Do you accept returns:

If you're not happy with your order, I'm not happy. I accept returns completely with refund or will do a replacement. Resizing is also free if your items need sizing adjustment.

How long will it take to complete my order:

It all depends on how many orders I have ahead of you and what you're ordering. It can be anywhere from weeks to several months. Feel free to ask at the time you're ready to order, as then I can give a more accurate time estimate with my current workload.

Do you have items pre-made that are ready to sell:

Occasionally. Custom orders take up most of my time, so I don't have much time to make up extra items, but when I do you can find them on my store page.

Can you use different types of wool by request?

Yes. I usually use a Peruvian Highland Wool yarn, (from Corriedale/Merino cross sheep, for both durability and softness) and it is ethically sourced. But, I can substitute other ethically sourced yarns I have access to by request, such as a pure Merino, Alpaca, or a superwash version of the wool if you don't want to handwash your items. Please note that pure Merino, Alpaca, and superwash are more expensive, so it will make the item(s) cost more.

All of the items I make are handmade by me. As of early 2016, I have started using a vintage, non-electric, hand operated knitting machine for some items. The rest of the items still have to be made by hand knitting needles (or crochet hooks for the few crochet patterns).
